Origin: Australia (known as “Spotted Mist” till 1998)
Breed: Crossbreed (This breed is a mixture of half Burmese, Abyssinian and Domestic shorthair cats)
Body: Medium sized with short hairs and spotted coat.
Body Color: This breed has seven colored cats- blue, lilac, gold, brown, chocolate, caramel and peach color. This breed’s leg and tail are barred also face and neck has thin colored lines.
Eye: American Mist has widely set eyes which are very expressive. Their eye colors can be light yellow, green or citrine.
Weight: Heavier than normal cats.
Health: This is a hybrid feline so the mixture of other breeds results that teeth and kidney are well formed and strong. Because of crossbreed Australian mist have skin issues like skin cancer and allergies. American Mist has limitless energy and athletic body.
